Police Policy

“The law changes constantly.”

Since his time in the Philadelphia Police Department, Chris has served as a developer and reviewer of police policy. He has consulted over one hundred and fifty times on policies involving use of force, emergency vehicle operations, arrest, custody and jailing procedures, critical incidents, SWAT, citizen complaints, juveniles, field training and tasers, to name a few. His review and consultation is both for best practices and conformity with existing law.

“The law changes constantly. With changes in the political winds, police reform and case law, come necessary changes to Police Department policies. Those who fail to keep up, stand at the mercy of an unforgiving litigation environment. If your critical policies are older than you are, you don’t honestly know what they say, or the troops can’t understand them because they were written by someone with no actual police experience, it is time for a review. I can help.“
