Chris Boyle serves as a law enforcement expert, instructor and consultant, headquartered in Southeastern Pennsylvania. He is a retired Police Lieutenant, licensed attorney, and currently holds positions as a Criminal Justice Instructor certified by the Municipal Police Officer Education & Training Commission, and an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice in the Graduate program of Delaware Valley University. He brings extensive experience and professionalism to every case and customizes support to your individual needs and concerns. He began his law enforcement career in the Philadelphia Police Department, serving as a Patrol Officer, Detective, Sergeant and Lieutenant in the Patrol, Detective, Narcotics and Training Bureaus. He retired as the Department Advocate in 2005, responsible for coordination with the Internal Affairs Bureau and adjudication of all disciplinary matters for the 6500 member Department, as well as legal consultant to the Police Commissioner. He was twice decorated in service to the City.

Since 2005, Chris has served as a civil rights trial attorney and law enforcement consultant. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Pennsylvania. Chris routinely reviews police policies and procedures regarding pursuits, search and seizure, the use of force and other law enforcement topics. He is a contributing editor to The BULLETIN, the quarterly publication of the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association, and  TRUST CONNECTIONS, the quarterly publication of the Delaware Valley Property and Liability Trust, frequently called upon to present seminars and training to law enforcement and the legal profession on topics from liability and defenses, to racial profiling and in-custody deaths. His expertise has also been utilized by numerous Police Departments to review incident-specific information and police response, even prior to the initiation of a suit. These post-incident critiques are utilized both to identify training and policy needs, and in preparation for potential litigation.
